XI Squadron was formed at Netheravon on the 14th February 1915, as the first unit in the Royal Flying Corps specifically tasked with fighter duties.

On 29th March 2007, XI(F) Squadron reformed at RAF Coninsby flying the Typhoon F.2 as the lead multi-role Typhoon squadron.

This coin is to commemorate XI(F) Squadron’s centenary in 2015.

I’m always looking to buy or trade for squadron coins. Please message me if you have any available.
